Program Director
Our current Program Director has over 12 years of coaching experience in the DC area. He has worked with several schools including Takoma Academy, Maret School, St. John’s College High School, and currently, Georgetown Prep. From 2013 to 2018, he coached with the DC Blue Devils on the UAA circuit, mentoring top athletes like Markelle Fultz, Jeff Dowtin, and Jared Bynum. Known for his commitment to player development. Norris is focused on using basketball to build and strengthen the community.

James Nelson Jr.
Executive Director
Nelson has an extensive knowledge of basketball and more than 20 years of coaching prior to the DC Blue Devils. Nelson primarily coached youth girls. During that time coaching on the women’s side, Nelson was able to coach his daughter which a McDonalds’s All- American and is currently playing for Duke University
Arnell "Mega' Milton

a seasoned basketball coach and trainer originally from NYC, now based in the DMV area for the past six years. He has coached at top programs including Berkeley Carroll (2 state, 3 city championships), Vision Academy Prep (placing all players in college, 7 with scholarships), and is currently Head Coach at Milton Gottesman School and 8th Grade Navy Coach for the DC Blue Devils.
Coach Mega has worked with elite organizations like the NBPA, Nike Basketball, Five Star, Hoop Group, Made Hoops, and top NYC AAU programs (PSA Cardinals, NY Rens, Riverside Church, etc.). He’s also a Director and Lead Trainer for the Jim Couch National Showcase, featuring D1 and NBA talent.
In the DMV, he’s coached with PPA Premier, MetroBall, New World, Team Remedy, and Georgetown Prep. He is also the Founder and Director of Team Mega Wildcats, developing numerous scholarship-level college athletes and professional players, including NBA talent.

Marty Robinson
Coach
Marty brings a strong background in basketball both as a player and a coach. He’s coached AAU basketball for 4 years, helping athletes sharpen their skills and develop a competitive edge. At the college level, he spent 2 years as a Player Development Coach at Towson University, helping the Women’s team to a championship-winning season.
As a former high school player and champion, Marty brings both playing and coaching experience to help athletes grow and succeed.

A former player at St. Benedict’s Prep and AAU program Milbank Fliers (Harlem, NY), Coach Gonzalez has played alongside pro and scholarship athletes of all levels. He’s coached at elite camps like Bob Hurley and Dave Hopla’s Hoop Group, bringing experience and insight to help athletes reach their full potential on and off the court.
